Hunger Mountain Children’s Center has been involved with the state funded Universal Preschool Program since 2005. Children who are 3 years old by September 1 are eligible to participate.

The program offers preschoolers 10 hours of preschool services a week for a minimum of 35 weeks.  The Universal Preschool Program at HMCC runs in the mornings from 8:00 – 1:00pm.

Many children involved in the program also participate in our full-time or part-time child care program.

Each year we are able to offer several of these 10-hour preschool spaces to eligible families. Contact our Executive Director, Amanda Olney at 802-244-5544, to inquire about available spaces for your child.
